Our mission is Kohunui is the spiritual and cultural base for ngā hapū o Kohunui Marae - Ngāti Rākaiwhakairi, Ngāti Hinewaka, Ngai Tukoko, Ngāti Ngāpūoterangi, Ngāti Rākairangi, Ngāti Hinetauira, Ngāti Kahukuranui, Ngāti Rua, Ngāti Rongomaiaia, Ngāti Rangaranga, Ngāti Kahukuraawhitia, Ngāti Mamoe.
Our Vision is that Kohunui marae will be a living and vibrant hub for the spiritual, cultural, economic, and political well-being of its people and whānau.

Our Native Nursery
Our whānau saw a need and through the Jobs 4 Nature fund was able to establish a Native Nursery. We are available for queries about ordering native rākau.
Kohunui Marae is a charitable trust and is run on the volunteer time of our whānau and supported by our wider community.
